Your View of Life!!

In life we have all these short sayings with hidden meanings that are made to inspire us especially in those days when all seems lost like time heals all wounds and all that talk about fate.As humans we have different views of life and quotes to go with all our views of life..Like life is a battle,Fight or Live,Love and laugh..whatever works for you.
For example i believe life is like a glass half filled with water.you either look at it half full or half empty. Your either grateful for the half that you have or sulk that the glass is not full..Simple!!Well at least that is how i understand it.I believe the half full is what you have things like Family,Friends,Love,Health even Life and the empty is what we desire,i mean if the glass was full you would be happier(fuller) in away at least that's what you believe within you.Now any of these will drive you in life,your possessions(Blessings) or your desires..You are either happy and grateful for what you already have or sulk and worry about the other missing half.
I choose to look at my glass half full and leave the rest to the Almighty!!What about you?Are you driven by your blessings or your desires?

Dear Diary!!

Today i wrote,
Dear Diary,
I am sorry i have abandoned you for so long.i have not kept my promise of being a true companion and friend.the empty pages are proof of my infidelity.i have cheated on you with jane, mary,solomon,joseph,keisha,ruth the list is endless.
To my despair i have again come to the same conclusion,you are my only true friend.
You are there even when i haven't been the best of friends,you take all my crap,you don't tell on me,you are steadfast and never change.
You know all my secrets and let me bleed through my pen on your pages.Your there when am happy and sad.
The best listener ever,only you let me be what i want to be when i want to be it.
You never judge me.how i wish all people were like you!!the world surely would be a better place.Forgive me and i promise to stay true to you forever.

Daily Devotional April 19th

Be unceasing in prayer.
— 1 Thessalonians 5:17

We can pray anytime, anywhere. Our instructions are to “pray at all times, on every occasion, in every season” and to “be unceasing in prayer,” but we know that we cannot spend all day long in a corner talking and listening to God. If we did, we could not live our lives.

Prayer needs to be like breathing—regular, easy—and we need to just pray our way through life as part of the way we live. In fact, just as our physical lives are sustained by breathing, our spiritual lives should be maintained by praying. We can pray out loud or we can pray silently. We can pray sitting down, standing up, or walking. We can talk and listen to God while we are moving or while we are being still. We can pray while we are shopping, waiting for an appointment, participating in a business meeting, doing household chores, driving, or taking a shower. We can pray things like, “Thank You, Lord, for everything You’re doing,” or “God, I need You to help me,” or “Oh, Jesus, help that lady over there who looks so sad.” Actually, this approach to prayer is God’s will. Satan wants us to procrastinate, hoping we will forget to pray. I encourage you to pray right away when something comes to your heart. This will help you stay close to God all day.

Choosing Friends!!

Hey look what i found,this is me sharing!!

The less you associate with some people, the more your life will improve. Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your mediocrity. An important attribute in successful people is their impatience with negative thinking and negative acting people. As you grow, your associates will change. Some of your friends will not want you to go on. They will want you to stay where they are. Friends that don't help you climb will want you to crawl. Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dream. Those that don't increase you will eventually decrease you.

Consider this:
Never receive counsel from unproductive people. Never discuss your problems with someone incapable of contributing to the solution, because those who never succeed themselves are always first to tell you how. Not everyone has a right to speak into your life. You are certain to get the worst of the bargain when you exchange ideas with the wrong person. Don't follow anyone who's not going anywhere.

With some people you spend an evening: with others you invest it. Be careful where you stop to inquire for directions along the road of life. Wise is the person who fortifies his life with the right friendships. If you run with wolves, you will learn how to howl. But, if you associate with eagles, you will learn how to soar to great heights.
"A mirror reflects a man's face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses."

The simple but true fact of life is that you become like those with whom you closely associate - for the good and the bad.

Note: Be not mistaken. This is applicable to family as well as friends. Yes...do love, appreciate and be thankful for your family, for they will always be your family no matter what. Just know that they are human first and though they are family to you, they may be a friend to someone else and will fit somewhere in the criteria above.

No Arms No Legs but no WORRIES!!

I was so blessed by his and i had to re post it here.

My name is Nick Vujicic and I give God the Glory for how He has used my testimony to touch thousands of hearts around the world! I was born without limbs and doctors have no medical explanation for this birth 'defect'. As you can imagine, I was faced with many challenges and obstacles.

'Consider it pure joy, whenever you face trials of many kinds.'

'And we know that in all things God works for the best for those who love Him.' That verse spoke to my heart and convicted me to the point where that I know that there is no such thing as luck, chance or coincidence that these 'bad' things happen in our life.


I now see that Glory revealed as He is using me just the way I am and in ways others can't be used.
I am now twenty-three years old and have completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Financial Planning and Accounting. I am also a motivational speaker and love to go out and share my story and testimony wherever opportunities become available. I have developed talks to relate to and encourage students through topics that challenge today's teenagers. I am also a speaker in the corporate sector.

I have a passion for reaching out to youth and keep myself available for whatever God wants me to do, and wherever He leads, I follow.

I have many dreams and goals that I have set to achieve in my life. I want to become the best witness I can be of God's Love and Hope , to become an international inspirational speaker and be used as a vessel in both Christian and non-Christian venues. I want to become financially independent by the age of 25, through real estate investments, to modify a car for me to drive and to be interviewed and share my story on the ' Oprah Winfrey Show '! Writing several best-selling books has been one of my dreams and I hope to finish writing my first by the end of the year. It will be called 'No Arms, No Legs, No Worries!'


The awesome thing about the Power of God, is that if we want to do something for God, instead of focusing on our capability, concentrate on our availability for we know that it is God through us and we can't do anything without Him. Once we make ourselves available for God's work, guess whose capabilities we rely on? God's!

Another Day!!

Today is another day.its beautiful to be alive and i just want to take this opportunity to Thank God so much for this day and the past days and also the days to come.As humans with our busy lives we go through the day with so much on our minds that we forget its a gift to be alive and breathing.That we have another chance at life.
Father today i come to your throne just to say thank you.i won't ask for anything am here in a thanks giving spirit.Thank you for my life and for those of my loved ones.Thank you for Each and every living soul.it is only by yo grace and mercy Lord.Thank you Jesus!!

We have all experienced situations that seemed impossible to handle at the time. It may have been a financial challenge or a bad report from the doctor. When things seem hopeless, and you feel you are at your worst, that is the time to turn to God and seek Him with everything you have. You may feel that you are alone in your circumstances, but God is a very present help in times of trouble. Although it would be great if the Lord would perform some sort of magical transformation of the tough circumstances you face, that just isn’t reality. However, the Word of God is your way out of any situation. Because God’s Word is infallible and contains burden-removing, yoke-destroying power, when you can meditate on it, and speak it, you will see changes in your life. While the facts about your situation may look bleak, the truth found in God’s Word brings light, hope, and deliverance. You can’t handle life’s challenges alone, and God doesn’t want you to. He loves you, and as long as you believe this in your heart, you have access to His divine intervention. Romans 8:38, 39 declare, “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Don’t allow the devil to convince you that God doesn’t love you or won’t help you. The enemy wants to steal your confidence in God. He knows that if he can cause you to feel isolated from God’s love, you will lose hope, and your life will become a battleground of chaos and destruction. What I want you to grasp is the fact that Satan wants to influence how you feel. When you allow the pressures of life to influence your emotions in a negative way, you will most likely make decisions and take actions that will keep you stuck in your present situation. Because of this, it is important that you give more attention to the Word than you do to what is going on around you. Get in the Bible and meditate on the Scriptures that speak to your situation. Allow your feelings to be governed and controlled by the Word so your decisions and actions can lead you in the right direction. In life, you will experience good and bad moments. That reality is never going to change. Christians, and non-Christians alike, will experience both. But God will be there for you through it all. Joshua 1:9 declares, “Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Perhaps you are facing a situation in life and are wondering if God is going to show up. Remember, the Scriptures declare: nothing can separate you from God and His love. You may not understand every detail of God’s plan for you, but when you believe in your heart that God loves you, feeling like you are fighting your battles alone will soon fade. When you have confidence in God, you will trust in what His Word says about your situation. He is not some impersonal “being” in the sky who is disconnected from the day-to-day realities in your life. He knows just when to step in and assist you when you need it most. My Valentines Day!!

This is a day of showing love so i was up early to go celebrate my number one love,Jesus Christ.There is no greater love than his.We praised,worshipped and i don't think i have ever heard a more beautiful morning this year than yesterdays. Me and my gals cooked and shared stories over lunch before heading to the Cinema.We watched the Valentines Day Movie and laughed our asses off eating butter popcorn and soda.I knew this was going to be my worst day since the year begun because am single and all but boy was i wrong.i have a better relationship with my Father(God), i have my true friends and a great Family by my side,what greater love is there than this??

PS: Valentine's day is a GREAT movie and i guess things don't always have to be the way you want or expect them to be,they can always be better.:)

One of Those Days!!

Today i woke up with a lot on my mind.School assignments to hand in, projects with deadlines, friendships gone bad,relationships gone bad and the fact that my ex's move on before me doesn't help.I just couldn't put my finger on what really bothered me most till now.let me take you back a bit,as i was growing up i had dreams of changing the world.i told myself that i could stop the violence and the wars and feed the hungry or at least try.i believed that people were good out there and they just needed guidance till i met a friend of mine who taught me that the world was cruel and survival was for the fittest.She told me that if i went on trusting every one i called a friend, sympathised with all who seemed genuine and gave out my heart to every guy who said the three words with eight letters i was doomed.i have depended a lot on other people.i genuinely cared,loved and trusted with the hope that they would automatically feel the same and reciprocate these feelings and we would all be happy.i realise now that i have been so wrong.i have been clinging on people a lot for my own happiness.i wanted to be loved by all and fit in different lifestyles.i shared my life with everyone and they later used it against me but i never learnt,i just couldn't shut up.i have hated those who have left like they owed me and fought to keep some so i can be happy but in the end am still un happy.i know now that i have got to step up and take control of my own life and happiness. Happiness comes from within and not our surrounding.i have made a choice to grow up and love myself.am going to stop trying to please everyone and play superhero.i am going to learn to spend time with me. I realise i don't need people and not everyone has yo best interests at heart. I will talk less to people and more to God.I still want to help the hungry kids and poor but now its clear that i can't change the real world but only very few people's worlds.i can change a little child's world by feeding them and the world will still be cruel.Facts of Life!
