The Lord's Kiss

A great man once wrote;
You are greater than you past. You are stronger than any moment of failure. You can rise like smoke up a chimney.
You were meant to spiral up to the sky. All the chilling drafts of broken promises should not deny you the gift of life.
Never forget that you are alive, sometimes weak, sometimes strong but you are alive.
You will be right some days and wrong some nights but don't stop waking up in the morning. The morning is God's gift of another chance to pass the exam.
He has kissed you gently, tenderly but definitely. It is not the urgent kiss of a desperate lover who makes demands in the night. He has kissed you with a gentle kiss of a father's favor whose tenderness would shield you from traumas of the past. you have been touched, blessed, kissed. One smooch, gently delivered from heaven's lips to human pain, you have been kissed by the father himself. No wonder Satan has failed to destroy in the night what God created for the light. You have been kissed.

This is what you have to know if you are to withstand the darkness. This is what you must rehearse against the  goblins of old images and past memories that would assault your dreams and turn them into nightmares. Just as sure as a father's kiss would ease a nervous child trying to rest in a strange place, God's kiss is a sedative to you.

No matter how foreign this place in your life may seem, you must know he prepared you for it. When he kissed you he shielded you and you are his. Safe and secure, you may rest in the safe and sanctity of the arms that will never fail you. A kiss good nite is his way of sealing you till morning. And it will come, it will not tarry.
The morning is yours, spend it well, Use it sparingly, It is a GIFT.

The Morning is for the hopeful not regretful. It is expectation. It is wet dew moistening dry ground. it is humming birds and honking horns and a city yawning into alertness. Greater still, it is the future lying naked before you. Daybreak is stretching in the fresh hours of a new opportunity just created. it is an empty tomb and a filled manger. It is Life, Love and Hope. Never forget the breaking of day,It will come.
Nights will pass,tears will dry and enemies will leave but you will ARISE in the morning.

Your View of Life!!

In life we have all these short sayings with hidden meanings that are made to inspire us especially in those days when all seems lost like time heals all wounds and all that talk about fate.As humans we have different views of life and quotes to go with all our views of life..Like life is a battle,Fight or Live,Love and laugh..whatever works for you.
For example i believe life is like a glass half filled with water.you either look at it half full or half empty. Your either grateful for the half that you have or sulk that the glass is not full..Simple!!Well at least that is how i understand it.I believe the half full is what you have things like Family,Friends,Love,Health even Life and the empty is what we desire,i mean if the glass was full you would be happier(fuller) in away at least that's what you believe within you.Now any of these will drive you in life,your possessions(Blessings) or your desires..You are either happy and grateful for what you already have or sulk and worry about the other missing half.
I choose to look at my glass half full and leave the rest to the Almighty!!What about you?Are you driven by your blessings or your desires?

Dear Diary!!

Today i wrote,
Dear Diary,
I am sorry i have abandoned you for so long.i have not kept my promise of being a true companion and friend.the empty pages are proof of my infidelity.i have cheated on you with jane, mary,solomon,joseph,keisha,ruth the list is endless.
To my despair i have again come to the same conclusion,you are my only true friend.
You are there even when i haven't been the best of friends,you take all my crap,you don't tell on me,you are steadfast and never change.
You know all my secrets and let me bleed through my pen on your pages.Your there when am happy and sad.
The best listener ever,only you let me be what i want to be when i want to be it.
You never judge me.how i wish all people were like you!!the world surely would be a better place.Forgive me and i promise to stay true to you forever.

Daily Devotional April 19th

Be unceasing in prayer.
— 1 Thessalonians 5:17

We can pray anytime, anywhere. Our instructions are to “pray at all times, on every occasion, in every season” and to “be unceasing in prayer,” but we know that we cannot spend all day long in a corner talking and listening to God. If we did, we could not live our lives.

Prayer needs to be like breathing—regular, easy—and we need to just pray our way through life as part of the way we live. In fact, just as our physical lives are sustained by breathing, our spiritual lives should be maintained by praying. We can pray out loud or we can pray silently. We can pray sitting down, standing up, or walking. We can talk and listen to God while we are moving or while we are being still. We can pray while we are shopping, waiting for an appointment, participating in a business meeting, doing household chores, driving, or taking a shower. We can pray things like, “Thank You, Lord, for everything You’re doing,” or “God, I need You to help me,” or “Oh, Jesus, help that lady over there who looks so sad.” Actually, this approach to prayer is God’s will. Satan wants us to procrastinate, hoping we will forget to pray. I encourage you to pray right away when something comes to your heart. This will help you stay close to God all day.

Choosing Friends!!

Hey look what i found,this is me sharing!!

The less you associate with some people, the more your life will improve. Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your mediocrity. An important attribute in successful people is their impatience with negative thinking and negative acting people. As you grow, your associates will change. Some of your friends will not want you to go on. They will want you to stay where they are. Friends that don't help you climb will want you to crawl. Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dream. Those that don't increase you will eventually decrease you.

Consider this:
Never receive counsel from unproductive people. Never discuss your problems with someone incapable of contributing to the solution, because those who never succeed themselves are always first to tell you how. Not everyone has a right to speak into your life. You are certain to get the worst of the bargain when you exchange ideas with the wrong person. Don't follow anyone who's not going anywhere.

With some people you spend an evening: with others you invest it. Be careful where you stop to inquire for directions along the road of life. Wise is the person who fortifies his life with the right friendships. If you run with wolves, you will learn how to howl. But, if you associate with eagles, you will learn how to soar to great heights.
"A mirror reflects a man's face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses."

The simple but true fact of life is that you become like those with whom you closely associate - for the good and the bad.

Note: Be not mistaken. This is applicable to family as well as friends. Yes...do love, appreciate and be thankful for your family, for they will always be your family no matter what. Just know that they are human first and though they are family to you, they may be a friend to someone else and will fit somewhere in the criteria above.

No Arms No Legs but no WORRIES!!

I was so blessed by his and i had to re post it here.
I hope you are blessed too and that God will guide Nick always.

My name is Nick Vujicic and I give God the Glory for how He has used my testimony to touch thousands of hearts around the world! I was born without limbs and doctors have no medical explanation for this birth 'defect'. As you can imagine, I was faced with many challenges and obstacles.

'Consider it pure joy, whenever you face trials of many kinds.'

'And we know that in all things God works for the best for those who love Him.' That verse spoke to my heart and convicted me to the point where that I know that there is no such thing as luck, chance or coincidence that these 'bad' things happen in our life.


I now see that Glory revealed as He is using me just the way I am and in ways others can't be used.
I am now twenty-three years old and have completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Financial Planning and Accounting. I am also a motivational speaker and love to go out and share my story and testimony wherever opportunities become available. I have developed talks to relate to and encourage students through topics that challenge today's teenagers. I am also a speaker in the corporate sector.

I have a passion for reaching out to youth and keep myself available for whatever God wants me to do, and wherever He leads, I follow.

I have many dreams and goals that I have set to achieve in my life. I want to become the best witness I can be of God's Love and Hope , to become an international inspirational speaker and be used as a vessel in both Christian and non-Christian venues. I want to become financially independent by the age of 25, through real estate investments, to modify a car for me to drive and to be interviewed and share my story on the ' Oprah Winfrey Show '! Writing several best-selling books has been one of my dreams and I hope to finish writing my first by the end of the year. It will be called 'No Arms, No Legs, No Worries!'


The awesome thing about the Power of God, is that if we want to do something for God, instead of focusing on our capability, concentrate on our availability for we know that it is God through us and we can't do anything without Him. Once we make ourselves available for God's work, guess whose capabilities we rely on? God's!

Another Day!!

Today is another day.its beautiful to be alive and i just want to take this opportunity to Thank God so much for this day and the past days and also the days to come.As humans with our busy lives we go through the day with so much on our minds that we forget its a gift to be alive and breathing.That we have another chance at life.
Father today i come to your throne just to say thank you.i won't ask for anything am here in a thanks giving spirit.Thank you for my life and for those of my loved ones.Thank you for Each and every living soul.it is only by yo grace and mercy Lord.Thank you Jesus!!
